He can’t remove Shopping Helper Smartbar. Help him!

“Windows 7. Shopping Helper Smartbar has been unintentionally installed on my system (along with several other programs that I have uninstalled). Using Uninstall Program in Windows 7, I am unable to uninstall ReSoft’s Shopping Helper Smartbar. I have removed it from both Chrome and Firefox extensions/add-ins, so it’s not in my toolbar, but it appears in my list of programs and the uninstall measure will do nothing to remove it. Please help!”

“I don’t know if this is a virus or what. I have searched and searched and cannot find anything about it. I noticed it on one of our computers yesterday. I was able to turn the add-on to “Never Activate” and turn the update “off”. But it does not give me the option to delete it. I looked in the place on the computer where you can delete programs (sorry I don’t know the technical name for it) and did not see it there.
